The Mighty Walker Brothers

It was the talents of Otis and James Walker that resurrected Felton Williams' Revival label. Group member Richard White, with the religious zeal of the most passionate gospel, penned “He’ll Make Way,” but the performance is a secular group harmony ballad. Pressed on the unusual 33rpm small hole 7” format and clocking in at a drowsy five-and-a-half minutes, the single was too secular for gospel audiences and too gospel for secular audiences. It shared the fate of the Walkers’ earlier efforts on their own Amon label: unknown, unseen, and unheard except for here.
