The Krystal Generation

Through Shama also came the Krystal Generation's "Satisfied" b/w "Is It Meant To Be" 45. The Krystal Generation were the backing singers for Simtec & Wylie's club act the T-Box's, led by Joyce Smith, with Darlene Arnold, Mary Shelley, and Mary Lead. Produced by Simtec & Wylie and backed by members of the T-Boxes, the single is reminiscent of the mainline sound Honeycone were making famous at Hotwax. The Krystal Generation would not fare nearly as well, struggling through half a dozen singles on Mr. Chand, T-Box, Buddah, and CMC before breaking up at the end of the decade.
