Chicago's Kaldirons were a west side vocal group managed by Marcelles Burke. He wrote and produced the group’s only single “You And Me Baby” b/w “To Love Someone (That Don’t Love You),” the latter of which features his hallmark string sound. The first of two virtually unknown groups on Twinight, the Kaldirons are nowadays remembered by their manager only as first names: Ronnie, Darryl, John, & Allen. The dead-on-arrival single was promo’d and then expeditiously shelved. Shortly after, the group changed its name to the Final Solution, to run headlong into their Brotherman project and further obscurity.
