Frank Williams & The Rocketeers

Formed around trumpeter Frank Williams, with Louis Howard on organ, Robert Ferguson on drums, a young William "Little Beaver" Hale on guitar, and Abe Meeks, Art Wilson and Denvil Liptrot rounding out the horn section, the Rocketeers backed almost every major talent that passed through Miami in the mid 1960s. "Good Thing Part I" didn't light up the charts, but the group's tight style on this funky little number couldn't be ignored; they soon became Miami's most in-demand session musicians.
